What’s a phrase in your target language that’s confusing even to native speakers?

  1. I would go with `je passe`.

    As in `Non, ça ne m’intéresse pas, je passe` (No, I’m not interested, I pass.) *or* sometimes as in `Je passe ce soir` (I will come tonight).

    Especially when answered on a phone, where you try not to use too many words because virtual keyboard, and the conversation goes:
    * `Tu viens avec nous ce soir ?` (Do you come with us tonight?)
    * `Je passe` (I pass)
    * [ some hours later ] `Hé, tu nous as oublié ??` (Hello, did you forget us??)
