Long story short , CTT tried to deliver a package to my workplace on Saturday for some stupid reason . Now they want me to pay for attempting another delivery ?

Well, you are trying to add a service, and that costs money per their terms and conditions (plus it’s not exactly their fault that the delivery was on Saturday and that the address you chose was closed).. if you don’t want them to try the delivery again, then go to the postal office, pick it up personally and it will be free.

I had the same doubt before and from what I understand it might be 1 more delivery on top of the “standard” attempts. So if they tried once, you likely don’t need to do anything and they’ll just try again the next business day.
After that if they still can’t deliver they (should) leave a paper on your postbox that you can use to pick it up from the nearest post office.
Yeah, in the UK, you can ask them to deliver another day of your choice for free. CTT is becoming more and more shit even without this

honestly, you should just go to the shop where it is stored and pick it up (go to the closest CTT and ask where it is or call them and they can track it via the delivery code)
Pick it up at the counter. You should have a notice left in your mailbox. Or you can simply provide the tracking number and an ID.
That new delivery attempt is an optional service. Sadly there’s no option to rearrange a new delivery on a new time frame but that’s what we have…

Já tinha visto isso. Meteram aqui uns cacifos deles no hospital e eu raramente estou em casa para receber, então estava a pensar e mudar para entregarem num destes cacifos. Depressa desisti da ideia.
