Brexit: Bringing down Boris Johnson was ‘triumph’ for Remainers, says Rees-Mogg

  1. I would say it’s a triumph for respect, common decency and the rule of law … but maybe I’m old fashioned and should go back to yelling at clouds.

  2. Nice to see that a man who claims to be devoutly religious is actually a fucking massive hypocrite.

  3. Man who has no hope of a ministerial job under anyone else defends Big Dog to the last.

Now if only the opposition in his constituency would organise. Mogg 50%, Labour 25%, Lib Dems 25%.

  4. Did anyone really do more to bring down Boris than Boris himself? Maybe if he’d been able to string together at least a single sentence that didn’t have a lie in it he’d still be PM

  5. Yes, it was. It was a triumph for Remainers, Brexiteers, conservatives, liberals, democracts, everybody in this country.

  6. “Bringing down Boris Johnson was ‘triumph’ for Remainers, says Rees-Mogg” Yes Mogg, remainers made Boris protect a sex pest, lie about Party Gate, destroy the economy and lie about every part of Brexit, we also forced Boris to say “let the bodies pile high” when talking about COVID.

  7. > “By a continuous shifting of rhetorical focus, the enemies are at the same time too strong and too weak.”

I must say I’m proud to be part of a movement that is whiny, living in the past and pathetic yet also able to bring such incredible powers to bear that we can crash the economy by “talking down” Britain, as well as unseat a PM with a massive majority.

    Fuckwit.

  8. “Are you or have you ever been a remainer”. This is where we have been for years now and it’s so damn sad.

  9. I don’t think ‘WE’ had anything to do with his parties, gullibility or lack of morals. Or indeed the useless idiots he had as advisors.

  10. Boris shot himself in the foot, then put it in his mouth. Politics aside, he’s not a good man & as far away from a statesman as he could possibly be. Once he’s gone, other things will be revealed about him & his cronies. I won’t be voting labour though.

  11. When my neighbour’s cat shits all over the garden and I have to remove it- I don’t consider it a “triumph”, just something needs to be done.

  12. JRM is a total fraud- English gentleman my arse.

He picks and chooses facts that suit him and quite frankly it just confirms how much of a third rate politician he is.

JRM knows Boris’s problem was opposition coming from all sections of the Party- including Brexiteers
