Heartbreaking how someone can do something like this

  1. Do you know him OP? How do you know he was Irish?

Edit Damn I’m copping downvotes. BBC article didn’t mention anything about being Irish.

  2. The suspect wasn’t accidentally wearing those gloves, so it was definitely planned.

It’s most likely that the old man was a random target of opportunity.

I guess the possibilities are, in order:

    1. Suspect wants to kill someone either for his own enjoyment or to prove himself to a local criminal gang and he chose the easiest target possible so there was no chance of resistance.
    2. Suspect is mentally ill and acting under a delusion – Usually this would be paranoid schizophrenia.
    3. Could be a racially motivated crime – He picked a random white person, again choosing a very easy target.
    4. Suspect was trying to mug the old man, encountered resistance and stabbed him. This seems very very unlikely.

EDIT: I appear to be getting some hate because I included the possibility of this being a racially-motivated crime… Wow. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

  3. Scum. Weird, two sets of young gathering around. Might have happened already and asked them for help? They just blanked an old person and thought nothing of it. Absolute fucking vermin. Disabled and old. Sometimes….death penalty

  4. Imagine being such a piece of fucking shit that you’d murder an elderly man on a mobility scooter. Scumbags like this don’t need prison or rehabilitation, they need putting down, just like an out of control dog!! Absolute scumbag!!

EDIT: Also wtf is going on in London…

    >It is the sixth murder investigation to be launched in London in the last four days.

  5. Fuck sake, to live such a long life, likely with the bones of a decade to go as he was capable of riding an e-scooter to be ended in such an awful way.

    Awful.

This post can remain as a once off, ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam

  7. Horrendous, the poor man. So scary.Exactly the reason I’ll never live in an overpopulated environment. The chances of bumping into some crazy person are far more likely.
