Welcome to Cyprus where logic is a myth in school life
Which school is that ?
What’s inappropriate about this? I had the same haircut when I graduated 10 years ago, after teachers told me long hair wasn’t allowed.
Mystery
What’s wrong with it? What school is this?
Yes that was the reason and not his ethnicity !!!
Oh lovely, so many suppressed memories came back from high school about fully grown ass adults utterly and completely losing their shit about haircuts and shoes and white shirts.
Is hair really that big of a deal in Cyprus? I legit have the same hair style and going back in a month to see my grandparents. I’m not going to scare the village, am I? Lol
Oh great, an excuse to go to a tangent about how much I hated our schools dress code!
In 1st Grade, one of our classmates had a little, *literally at most 3cm* [rat tail](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rattail_(hairstyle)). The amount of harassment the school administration engaged in *just* to get his family to cut that tiny bit of hair behind his back was frankly disgusting, even to us at 7 years old.
Also despised how they forced us to shave our facial hair to a *ridiculously perfect* degree, and if you had even the tiniest of hair too long, they would make you do it *in school* with a razor ***they*** handed. Like bitch, the teens have PIMPLES for god’s sake, do they not realise how stressful it is trying to shave without accidentally cutting the pimple? And *god* forbit that happens while you’re forced to use the school’s razor, *100% a health hazard*.

Oh and my favourite; *the sexism*! The school provided the “*main uniform*” for free, y’know, *the shirt*, *pants*, etc…, except “*pants*” were ***not*** a part of the girls’ uniform, only *skirts*. If they wanted pants *(which in winter they* ***obviously*** *did*) they would have to *pay* for them. Naturally, half the school was *quite* pissed, so the administration made sure to make them *even* ***more*** pissed by letting them know that during official ceremonies, celebrations, mournings, remembrances, etc., only the “*main uniforms*” would be allowed, aka the girls would be forced to wear skirts **in the winter cold for minutes on end**, and be punished if they don’t comply. *Lovely*.
And of course as a guy, I and my bros didn’t like having to wear pants at 36 degrees Celsius **at all times**. There were straight up no shorts. None. For none of the occasions. Not in the “main uniform”, and not as an addition outside it. None. Why? Because according to what one of hour teachers heard in a meeting, *the principal didn’t like seeing guys with their “ugly, hairy legs”*. Makes the decision to force girls to wear skirts ***extra*** *disgusting. Perverted cuck.*

TL;DR: Fuck unnecessarily stringent dress codes. Let the boys wear shorts in summer, and the girls pants in winter. In fact fuck it, let the boys wear skirts too, free the fucking balls. Fuck harassment over wearing earrings or rings. Fuck harassment over “improperly coloured shoes”. Fuck harassment over “long hair” for boys and “short hair” for girls.
Seriously, just fuck off.
O takis o alitakis
Can somebody tell me if this person was a Greek Cypriot or another nationality? I feel like absolutely nobody is letting this happen to a Greek Cypriot citizen and I have a feeling this is a foreigner.
Either way, it’s absolutely stupid. Nothing wrong with the hair cut whatsoever. Dinosaurs need to get a grip
Public schools in Cyprus have dress codes?? Including about hair?? What the fuck.

1) principal was based
2) this fella went to get a haircut for this photo
3) everyone is commenting on this event. If you want to see unjust behaviors you’ll find it in the army against those who do not “know people”
Something tells me this is not the haircut he had when he was excluded from graduation…
Now that I learned on what school it is, it’s ridiculous. That school has always been trouble, based on the students that told me about it. I’m very sure that it would become worse in a simple situation.
Fact is, that every school cares about haircuts and school uniforms, but not about kids throwing crackers (κροτίδες) in the school or in the middle of a lesson (outside). Usually, not only that, but they also bring a lot of dangerous stuff. I recently learned that some child from a school (gymnasio) burned a playground, and yet they didn’t even get punished.
To be fair, the school system of Cyprus is shit, and needs to be changed at this point.

REally??? What is inappropriate here?? Missing braids?
95% of teachers abuse their position in order to cope that they are failures and achieved nothing in life.
Its so in appropriate I could compare it to wearing a dildo and pretending to be a unicorn
