  1. Dia dhaoibh a chairde. Chun an oighir a bhaint as an turcaí, cur ar íochtaireacht an chuisneoir é, agus fág é ar feadh ceithre uair is fiche do gach cúig phunt meacháin. Déan an búiste sula dtosnaíonn tú ag cócaireacht. Róst ag 180 céim celsius. Beidh a fhios agat go bhfuil sé réidh nuair a thagann sú glé soiléir as. Níl aon duine ag iarraidh nimhiú bia a fháil, mar sin faigh mo chuid nótala sábháiteachta ó shiopaí bia rannpháirtithe nó ó do bhúistéara. Is fiú go mór iad a léamh, nó cur glaoch orainn. Bíodh Nollaig mhaith agaibh, ó BhiaSlán.

Hello friends. In order to defrost your turkey, leave it in the bottom of the fridge for 24 hours per 5lbs weight. Make the stuffing before you start cooking. Roast it at 180 degrees celcius. You’ll know it’s ready when the juices run clear. Nobody wants to get food poisoning, so get my food safety notes from participating food shops or from your butcher. They’re well worth reading, or just call us. Merry Christmas, from FoodSafety.

  2. I feel like it’s too early to be thinking about Christmas and cooking the turkey. I know BT opened their shop, actually the one in Cork has been open for a few days, but they do that every year. I dunno like, it’s only August and it’s lovely and warm and sunny. Still on summer holidays vibe until we go back to school. Let’s leave Christmas off a while.
