If Yorkshire water are banning hosepipe use what am I supposed to use to wash away the raw sewage they keep dumping?
UK last built a dam in 1991. Since then population increased 10 million.

Its not a hosepipe I’ve got I’m my garden, it’s a flexible extension to their shite piping infrastructure. At least the bit I’ve done doesn’t leak anywhere near as much as their network.
Why start on the 25th and not now if it’s needed? Seems bizarre to begin in 2 weeks time.

When does the extensive programme of repairs to stop the waste in the system start?
Guess we will refill the kids pool on the 25th then?
It’ll have rained for 2 weeks solid by then so it’ll be fine and the ban will be not enforced.
You can still use watering cans by the way, just in case anyone wasn’t aware (because I certainly didn’t realise)
In the space of 10 min walk this morning I noticed two people washing cars and someone filling up a pool. Panic hosing.
This can’t be serious.. it was pissing it down for the last few weeks, the grassland is green around us.
