It’s the main reason my now retired dad moved from Dublin Bus to Bus Eireann. Bricks thrown, punches thrown etc. Barely even mattered what route either. Honestly a horrible job. Bus Eireann was only marginally better.
Awful 😞. People who assault bus driver’s should be banned from using public transport. I’m not sure how that would be enforced though 🤔
Start putting security on the fucking things.
How can they encourage public transport over cars when there’s at least one viral video a week of a scumbag causing problems on Dublin Bus.
The solution seems pretty simple: Have all public transport workers strike and bring Dublin to a halt, until public transport police are established.
Simply the threat of such a strike aught to be enough.
