I think they would prefer a pay rise in line with information
That’s a heart?
Oh lovely, i’m sure they’re all much happier now they can pay their bills with a sky heart.
fuck out of here.
Instead of doing this maybe they could have donated the money to their local NHS charity or a staff welfare fund or something. It doesn’t even look like a heart 🙄
Yawn. More BS whilst they privatise services
Why can’t they be satisfied with all the clapping and pan banging they got in the past…?
Sky heart – tick
Clapping – tick
Proper wages, decent hours, investment to end backlogs – Mad Liz sayz nope.
Christ there’s a lot of miserable fucks about today.
It’s a nice little gesture, and one that is appreciated by the staff who treated him.
> Dr Sarah Clarke, the consultant cardiologist who treated Geoff, said: “This was a lovely gesture from Geoff and Mark and much appreciated by all the staff. Drawing the heart in the sky looked far more difficult than putting a stent in!”
Would the staff prefer and deserve a pay rise? Of course. But last I heard, Geoff the 70 year old aerial photographer, isn’t in charge of the NHS staff budgets.
That guy draws hearts and smiley faces all the time above Cambridge. It’s kinda run-of-the-mill now.
Their hearts were in the right place but a new fridge stocked with Diet Coke and fizzy water would have been far more appreciated.
Aww that heart will pay for increased energy bills won’t it…
It’s very nice and appreciative don’t get me wrong but yeah they’d be much better off with the money it would have cost to pull this off.
I thinknits a cool thank you from a member of the public, remember it’s the politicians and high end managers who are the bell ends
But nah giving them a few hundred quid extra is too much
doesnt really look like a heart
They’ll spend money on anything but the nurses to thank them.
Here you go, another useless gesture, now back to work!
Stick that in your fuel tank!
So clapping not good enough anymore? Now I have to fly a plane to show my support for the NHS.
Has anyone actually read the article ??? It was a patient who paid for this, it was a gesture of thanks for saving him.
Not really up to him to provide pay rises for the staff. I 100% agree they are not paid enough and should get pay rises but don’t hate on a guy for trying to do something nice.
That heart is about as good as the NHS
Next stage, get dwayne the rock Johnston to clap for the NHS. You can’t top the sound and emotions of that. Heard him the other day opening his fridge.
