There’s a couple secret techniques like checking the main websites you’ve probably have been told about at specific hours in the morning when they refresh the listings, etc.
But all in all it just takes time (and experience) to find something both affordable and decent. Also don’t fixate on Paris, the suburbs that are also on metro lines are great spots to look for a studio.
