Thousands more NHS beds to be created in England this winter

  1. But no staff to mange the additional patients due to poor pay and atrocious conditions, no doubt.

You can build as many hospitals and additional beds you like to please the plebs, but with no staff you are just wasting even more tax payers money as they’ll remain empty due to staff shortages.

Reward our front line workers with pay that reflects their work.

  2. Sounds like all those Nightingale Hospitals that were never used at the start of the pandemic due to staff shortages.

  3. Isn’t it weird? Why do they seem to think it’s okay to create temporary hospitals? How is it not a crisis when you’re told “*We’re making temporary hospitals and creating more beds*”? That doesn’t sound like they are at all on the ball.

If I went to a business, say a cafe for food, and they said “*we’re creating more sausages for a sausage sandwich, and more cups for your coffee to be stored in*” I’d be like “*Cool, well I’ll find a cafe that thought about those things first…*” but you can’t do that with a government who’s in charge of a nationalised service.

***We’ve got all the big calls right, whilst systematically dropping the ball on every other big call ever… Look, it’s the media’s fault, okay! Don’t worry, more of the same will steer the ship in the right direction…*** Fuck me what a dump…

  4. What about the staff to cover these extra beds. This really is beyond a fucking joke. Not one person iin this government or running the nhs has a fucking clue whats going on or how to solve it.
We need nurses, doctors, porters etc just to cope with the demand now.
    Ffs.

  5. There are a ton of empty beds but reserved for private patients.

If you want care right now you have to pay.

Consultations start at 350-500 GBP for 5-10 minutes

And you can get a bed if you pay 10000 GBP for about 10 days.
