No surprises here. Doing a “LOL NOPE” at the last possible moment as the FDP did during the last elections would have annihilated every last bit of voter support the party enjoys; even after its steep climb up due to the Corona restrictions.
Besides, getting to run the ministry of finance is more or less their wet dream.
