You know what I think we need to privatise the whole thing that’s the only thing that can wave the NHS. It will be much cheaper and more efficient if privatised and the competition would provide a much better service to us. You know like all the other things that got privatised.

Total population of the UK in 2020 was 67 million so, 10% of the population is waiting to be seen to by a doctor?
For the very many Tory MPs with interests in private healthcare companies, long NHS waiting lists are 100% a good thing, as they serve the twin purposes of increasing private healthcare revenue and of making ppl dissillusioned with the NHS.
It is the “small state” in action.
It is by design.
And the electorate hates immigration more than they love the NHS (and, by extension) their own health.
Its no coincidence that waiting times were low and public satisfaction high at the end of the last Labour government.
Thick Lizzy will probably announce a plan to ‘Save the NHS’ by selling it off to the cheapest bidders.

The Tory Party’s achievements after 12 years of ~~fiscal responsibility and sensible governing~~ transferring money from the country to themselves and running everything good about the UK into the fucking ground
There needs to be a parliamentary enquiry into why successive tory governments is failing the NHS. Money alone cannot solve the many issues that is plaguing this great and very important institution. There needs to be a complete overhaul the system. Summon the top executives at the NHS and the current health secretary to outline a tangible plan to save the NHS from being completely privatised and only serving the ambitions of wealthy owners.
That’s one way of saying NHS has basically collapsed. Sad times =(
I’ve been waiting for surgery for years! Just started a new job and both consultant told me I’m close to being seen.
Gotta laugh really.
And yet I see campaign saying NHS targets are hit and the two year wait list has been reduced by 88% with over 22,500 patients treated.
