Not banning the barbaric practise of conversion therapy is effectively government saying that anyone who isn’t cis-identifying and/or straight is wrong. That there’s something wrong with us and we don’t belong. We’re simply tolerated.

As a trans woman, I’ve been getting more and more scared with each passing year with this government. No one seems to be standing up and challenging them when it comes to helping us. The rhetoric and constant media manipulation against trans women has me almost a recluse. I used to go out to see my friends and family, I dare not do these things now. I haven’t left my house since January, except to see my GP.
