The article is basically arguing that instead of abortions being illegal except in certain circumstances, they should be legal except in certain circumstances.
Which are similar but not the same. The cases it uses as an argument are very niche though.
I wish people would stop trying to control others all the time and just let us make our own choices about our bodies.
– From an angry woman who has been refused sterilisation for the past 10 years, because someone else decided for me that its not what I want, regardless of me requesting it almost twice a year.
Unlikely, we’re nowhere near as religious as the US supreme court.
Personally I think that the balance the UK has in general (for the majority of cases ) is pretty good.
It’s not black and white, but shades of grey in terms of determining where the line is drawn.
Bullshit opinion piece.
No one serious is saying anything about abortion and fools that look at the States and say so-and-so will happen here next really hasn’t got their heads screwed on right.
Terminally online.
At this point I think that as with most things like this in this country a post like this will sit at around 10 up votes with dozens of comments, people will scroll past it, no one will read it, people will comment how “that’s not possible here because we’re better” and within a year abortion rights will be diminished, similar to the way protest rights have already been diminished, with people arguing all the way that it wouldn’t and couldn’t happen.
Says who? It’s a non issue in this country.
Well this is just typical fear-mongering.
“Oh no, we’re not trying to scare you, hehe, we would never mean to cause you any alarm 🙂 …But you are under threat, someone’s out to get you! Always look over your shoulder! ..But don’t worry, we’re not scaring you 🙂 …You have been warned.”

What utter nonsense… Clickbait journalism.
