There is a family of spiders you’re worried about? Good, spiders kill mosquitos and flies.
In Lithuania no venomous spiders… Like Black Widow. Maximum damage to your body, is might be painful bite, nothing more
its a cross spider/garden spider their bite is non-toxic but may penetrate your skin and be as painful as a wasp bite. You can mainly see them hunting in the evening and night.
In Lithuania the only real threat is one species of snakes that are venomous but they live mostly deep in the forests, so its not easy to spot them even when you go mushroom picking. And maybe European hornets, they are not aggressive most of the time, but they do look scary.
Spiders, lizards, whatever are mainly harmless, some can bite, but in practice probably only children feel some pain as they have soft skin. I heard there is one spieces of spiders living in the swamps they can swim and apparently their bite can paralyze parts of the body like fingers etc.. They are endangered species and also hard to spot. More in to the autumn you might be able to spot Argiope bruennichi in your garden, they are reletively new spieces in our country, some say they can also bite, havent tried 😀 Not poisons or at least poison not strong enough to effect humans.
