FOSTER HOME REQUIRED: Poor Roscoe is our longest resident at the shelter we would love to find him a foster or permanent home.
He really needs to get out of the shelter at this stage as it can be quite a stressful environment with all the comings and goings, and it’s a lonely place for a dog at night in a dark concrete indoor kennel with only the radio for company. He’s a lovely friendly and playful dog.
His foster home would need to be cat free and dog free, as he’s not happy to share his toys. He can jump up a little bit at times so a home without small children would be better. If you could foster (or adopt) Roscoe please complete and return our expression of interest form

Can I ask if you need volunteers to walk dogs?
I will be moving to Kildare and won’t be in a position to adopt a dog but would love to spend a few hours a week helping out or walking dogs.
Lurchers really have it rough in this country.
We have many dog lovers but Irish law does not love dogs.
I hope he finds a good home. Getting a rescue dog was more challenging but also more rewarding than I expected.
