What is missing from the picture is a small dish of pickles: hot chilly peppers stuffed with cabbage, Salzgurken (salted and fermented cucumbers). And of course a healthy slice of white bread, because how else we could sponge up the last remaining drops of sauce from the plate (this is called _tunkolni_)
And it’s accompanied by a bottle of full body red wine (or, as I prefer, 2 big glasses of lager)

I think it’s beef stew with a side dish called tarhonya. Tarhonya is little pasta. It’s delicious. I hope the beef is not chewy.

A nokedli vs tarhonya vita alapján sokan még nem láttak dörzstarhonyát, csak a menzás sörétet. Pedig jól lepirítva köröket ver a sörétre marhapörivel. Nyami!
