  1. Surly it’s hard with this kind of friends you don’t need enemy’s. But after all yes it’s human and it’s good to see that also politicians having a private life.

  2. She needs to be a bit more careful about who she is close friends with. It’s fine to have a private life, it’s fine to party. But when someone is a leader of a nation, it should be realized that you will be under a microscope 24/7, and that not only your actions, but the actions of those you associate with, will reflect upon you. This was drilled into us when I was in uniformed service. You might take off your uniform after you leave work, but how you conduct yourself outside of work still reflects upon your station, and your organization. There are certain jobs and positions where you must be mindful at all times of your conduct. It sucks, and it is stressful, but that’s a cost of being in a position of authority.

And for her friends, I would be so pissed at them. A few times I’ve been invited to events where some of my friends work, and I still endeavor to be respectful and professional, even if it is a private, out of work event. Again, I realize that my actions and words would reflect on my friends and how their coworkers perceive them, and I would not want to cause issues for them through my choices.

I’m ok with partying and dancing and whatever on your free time. But self awareness and forethought are key, especially when you are a nation’s leader.

  3. Honestly this just makes her seem either weak or like she’s resorting to crying to “get out of trouble”/get sympathy. Which sucks now that there’s a crazy macho man with a napoleon complex on the other side of the border. Any other time this would be fine but considering the current climate I don’t think this was the best play. Also the Ukraine part was uncalled for, like she’s using them for her own benefit. Could have left that part out.
And in the end, if you can’t take what the job comes with: quit… I sure as hell couldn’t do that job with all the crap you get from it.

  4. I don’t think a night out with friends and letting off some steam is an issue, politician or not. Being married and dancing with your arms around a pop star’s neck is a bad look, and if I was her spouse I would have an issue. Unless they have an understanding and he is allowed to do that too (Something tells me if her husband was taped doing this most people wouldn’t be so gracious).

  5. The really disturbing part is who the hell released those videos. Has she got shit friends, or has one of them been hacked by the Russians who want to smear her?

She has in any case definetly been smeared.

  6. that kind of movie is totally acceptable in certain countries and it should be everywhere. She should not have to ask for forgivenes about being human.

  7. Private life is nobody’s business
Having fun is not illegal, just let her be for fuck sake
    What’s wrong with these people?
If anything, it’s a good thing – you cannot be efficient if job takes 100% of your life

  8. Oh my fucking god, who cares? Sanna Marin can go out if she wants. More so, the Australian PM gets positive press for sculling a beer at a concert. But Sanna can’t dance? And she’s all of a sudden to blame because 2 models were topless? Fuck out of here. Russian troll farm shit and the fact media is pushing this is fucking disgusting. There’s literally a genocidal war criminal across the border, why the fuck are we talking about this? Why has this been pushed so hard she’s now in tears for simply enjoying her night and having more friends than most of the sad fucking losers who actually care about this?

Honestly, this is backwards as fuck. Get over it and leave her alone. Fucking bunch of sad cunts, dead set. Get a fucking life.

  9. People are saying she’s weak for crying. I dunno man, shes been constantly bombarded for dancing on a video for over a week. I mean, thats some really extremely stressing and tiring stuff to go through to have the whole world breathing down your neck and having something to say about that one night you were happy for three hours. I don’t think its weakness to cry when youre hounded like that without pause for days on end. Give her a break.

  10. This is the worst the opposition has against her: partying wild.
Meanwhile prominent Kokoomus politician was revealed to been inappropriate towards minors. Perussuomalaiset politician was strangling a woman. Cristian democrats leader was just in court for hate speech. I’d pick this scandal over any of the opposition parties scandals.

  11. Hello there. Asking as a person with little knowledge of Finnish politics. As a leader in economic, environmental, public opinion etc capacities is she doing a good job?

  12. Too bad that people care. It literally doesn’t fucking matter if she did cocaine every night. If she’s doing her job and doing it well, why tf does anyone give a shit about what she does off work?

  13. Why do we care about this? There is a war in Europe. If she successfully leads Finland and doesn’t commit any crimes, there’s no reason to care wtf she does in her free time. There are bigger things to worry about.

  14. Meh. I didn’t mind the whole partying thing, actually thought it was kinda cool. And this speech started of well by her saying she was just having fun. But that she’s dragging Ukraine into it in order to deflect is just annoying, there is literally not a single bad thing that happens in Europe these days without someone saying “but Ukraine” and 90% of the time it’s just people trying to get away with stuff.

  15. Sorry bit If this is currently the biggest Problem they have in fucking Finland my flight is already booked.

  16. This is a non-issue, and a ridiculous one at that.

Can we let the PM do her job rather than distracting her with press releases about who she hangs out with?

    Who gets off with this?

  17. Ex prime minister of Latvia, Indulis Emsis, once was publicly swimming in nude beach, picture was on covers of magazines the next week. No problem there.

I don’t understand how this is a news? we all are just people.

  18. You have a PM that acknowledges and owns her mistakes. You know how rare that is? Our PM (NL) would just say “I don’t have any active memory of the incident” and carrry on like nothing happened.
