> They blocked access to petrol pumps by sitting in the road with banners, while some sabotaged petrol pumps by breaking the display glass, covering them with spray paint or locking on to them.
Learning nothing from the Insulate Britain crowd then.
> Just Stop Oil said the protest was intended to “put further pressure on petrol and diesel supplies for the south-east ahead of the August bank holiday weekend”.
Yes, you’re really fucking over… ordinary people trying to get from A to B who are probably stopping on motorways out of urgent need, not because they offer any kind of competitive prices.
> On Tuesday, several dozen supporters staged blockades, trespasses and tunnel protests at oil terminals in Essex and Warwickshire, disrupting deliveries. Just Stop Oil said 35 of its supporters had been arrested for taking part in that protest, with nine due in Birmingham crown court for breaking injunctions.
Ironically this can have the same knock on effect but seems more appetising, since it’s direct action against terminals and not consumer-end petrol stations.
Rising energy prices are driving half the country to starvation and these morons think the big brain move is to disrupt energy supplies?
Legends! Good luck to them.
Someone recently asked on here why no one was protesting this government. People do protest and many out there are fighting for all of our interests. It just takes a minute for people to understand that we do hold power via protest. Don’t listen to those who say it doesn’t work. They are often, Keyboard warriors and nothing else. Direct action is the only way forward and the UK is about to see quite allot of it.
Power to them ✊
Shush now. When the time comes they wont have a fucking choice. They obviously dont deserve one.
As long as they are only blocking the forecourt and not the truck rest areas then I am all for this.
They need to target the refineries and hold strong. Corrupt fraudulent governments just laugh at a petrol station. Watch them laugh as they paralyse the country and their bank balances. FULL support to all strikers, let’s hope the whole country does it and bring this fraudulent corrupt government down.
Bit unrealistic to stop oil since it’s used to make a ton of stuff we all use on a regular basis.
