Next PM could face £23bn autumn spend to cover £900 rise in energy bills

  1. Let’s increase tariffs on exporting electricity, oil and gas produced in Britain and then let’s nationalise the retail and production companies instead of using public money to subsidise retail energy prices.

    🙂

  2. How come the original £200 rebate was supposed to be repaid over four years but they just scrapped that and no one is asking how? Could they have done that all along? If so, why does it take them so long to provide help?

  3. Maybe we shouldnt let MPs have unlimited expenses they claim for heating; perhaps they should.only be allowed to claim the same as those on a minimum wage job could afford to put towards heating without sacrificing food and other essentials.

Might see some action from MPs happen then once they have to actually use their own money.

  4. So not even half of the cost of those PPE contracts?

I notice the tory party aren’t using their own purse to cover these costs

    It’s all taxpayer money
