Hello! I apologise for the post in English, my people are not famous for their language learning! I saw the image linked here on another subreddit and I thought of a question I have in relation to a writing project.
What debates like these do you recognise in your country? The context of my project involves former states of the Soviet Union, and so I’m also curious about the debates you have with neighbouring countries also – however I know this is a dangerous subject perhaps, I do not want to anger anyone or contribute to bad arguments, but learn about common perceptions. For example, my own country of England has a long and combative relationship with France, and the English it seems have a reputation of being cold and distant people socially, compared to continental Western Europeans. I don’t say that this is true or not, or good or bad, but I’m curious about the disagreements and differences in opinion that come from differences in culture between yours and your neighbours, within your country and with neighbouring countries.
