So, before anything my name is Victor and I’m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Basically, I’m planning this trip to Europe next year and I really wanted some advice from ppl who either live or know the places I’ll go to. Also, some parts of the trip are not totally settled so there’s some wiggle room if there’s some really awesome hidden gems to include.

I’m going with a friend and I’m also going to meet some friends that live there. So my friend and I will rent like a place in Italy (probably the around Rome, but not actually In the city) and in Prague (same situation. you can help me know how viable that is) cuz we want to rent a Car so we can have some mobility and access to more things in these places that we’ll stay longer.

About Czechia (that right?) and Prague specifically tho, I’ve seen a lot of stuff online and it looks amazing, but I never actually talked to someone who have been there, and I know from experience (as the tourist and the local) that there’s always a lot that a person who knows the place as a local can contribute to a someone visiting.

So, if you can help me with some advices I’ll be glad to talk about anything really, but things like, mobility (both internally and going in and out of the country), places to eat and stay, and things to see and do, plus things like weather and what are the best seasons and times of the day for specific activities, etc.

  1. some official stats said the average stay of tourist in Prague is 2,5 nights so your six might be way too much.

  2. As always, search for Honest Guide on YT. They’re from Prague and make videos (in English) targeted at tourists. What to visit, where to eat, what to avoid (in terms of scams/tourist traps) etc.

As for the car, I’m not sure how fun that would be as a tourist in Prague. Outside of that, for getting between sites, it’s probably gonna be fine. (although train would likely be significantly cheaper)

  3. If you want to meet in Prague some people who speak brazilian portugeuse a little, you can write me. Unless you will come in July or August, I can accompany you as I learn portuguese for a few years. And I would love some practise.
