Seems like the govt are determined to do the opposite of the right thing every time. If the companies can’t pay for energy how the hell is the public expected to pay.
Unless these industries would be required in a conflict situation.
Schools and hospitals might be a better things to subsidise but hey, what do I know.

So weaken our currency more making things harder for us and whilst chucking boatloads of cash at firms that are making more £££ how about fuck off and tax the shit out of any company that announces record profits
