Could you imagine the response if the UK had thousands of migrants gathering at Dover trying to cross the channel and enter France, wonder if ‘it’s a problem for France’ would suffice lol
Send them back or they’ll keep coming. A message needs to be sent that the only way into the UK is through legal channels only. Try anything else, you are breaking the law like a criminal and will be treated accordingly.
This is nearly half a million people a year. Are these asylum seekers entitled to benefits?

I didn’t vote for Brexit but the least I expected afterwards was not reversing brexit by stealth from the Tory party by being the party of immigration.
What gives? Why are they so weak on this issue?
As we rush into neo-feudalism the serf class needs reinforcements.
That’s a lot of, but I bet most of the people fuming about this have never seen a refugee or an economic migrant in their lives.
Perhaps more people would grasp the scale of the problem if the numbers were [visualised](https://twitter.com/Holbornlolz/status/1562057753908092929). It’s a lot of people. Year after year. These people will never be going back. They will be here forever, and many of them will not integrate. We have enough people who don’t integrate; adding more is insanity.
and a hell of alot of them are albanian at the moment Lol.
It’s almost as if closing the border doesn’t stop migration, it only stops safe migration.
At some point the pendulum is going to swing the other way and it’s not going to be pretty.
Maybe we should try and work to stop the rest of the world becoming unliveable
I’m very glad that so many neurosurgeons, nuclear physicists and platform-agnostic Scrum masters have come here from third world countries to save our NHS and pension funds.

Ok. humour me. Ive completely run out of money, this isnt as much as a joke as it sounds. if i can somehow mix in with some of these crossings can i be processed and put into accomodation? Im massively curious about this. Can this work?
TheBBC finally found a baby on one of the boats and so will now proceed to recycle that pic forever despite the fact that over 99% of those crossing the channel are fully grown men.
Hope they have the money to pay for the energy price cap increases
Here’s the reality.
No conceivable govt be it Conservative, Labour or Coalition with Libs or SNP or whatever is ever actually going to stop this. Tories will talk, bluster, come up with hare-brained nonsense like sending a bunch of Albanian wideboys to Rwanda – a huge percentage of the “refugees” are groups of Albanian men – but they will not actually DO anything because they are afriad of being labelled nationalist. Labour will prate about a “fair and humane system” and then won’t DO anything because they don’t actually disapprove.
This carry on is now a fact of life and is not going to stop. It’ll wax and wane with the seasons but its not going to stop. Relax and get on with it.
