More and more Jews leaving France due to anti-Semitism

I am not a Jew myself but I see this as a tragedy, a double tragedy in fact, a tragedy for this people who do not feel safe in their country and feel the need to expatriate themselves, and a tragedy for France since it means a cultural impoverishment for our country. Jews have heavily contributed to the culture of our country and are an integral part of it.

  2. The headline is not entirely accurate. It mentions that 3500 people emigrated to Israel in 2021, which is a significant increase from the two previous years. But it also adds that
    Jewish emigration peaked in the 2013-17 period – 7200 in 2014 and nearly 7500 in 2015. So it was up last year but only about half what it was in the mid-2010s. We will have to see if 2021 represents a new upward trend.

  3. The far right is very much on the rise, the reasons are various one of the most significant is the 2007 economic crisis and the following migration crisis in the Mediterranean.
