As long as companies find it inconceivable to have lesser profits than the year before this shit will never stop. Not even no profit but a little bit less than last year is impossible to fathom for these companies. Cap profits for all companies and make every dime they go over it flow back to the community that makes their profits in the first place.
Serious question, where is this going, people are complaining about the government not doing anything but what can they do, the situation isn’t better in our neighour countries.
When will these price hikes stop, will they ever, if they don’t what will hapen to the Euro.
Tbh this doesn’t concern me that much, what concerns me more is long term, if it keeps going like this in a couple years people won’t be able to afford living.
Time for more people to stop buying prepacked frozen veggies?
Gas and electricity prices on the spot market doubled the past few weeks and future prices for Q4 and Q1 2023 are even worse. Shit’s completely fucked up, particularly for companies using lots of gas or electricity that can’t or can only partially forward their increased costs.
Expect another wave of temporary unemployment and bankruptcies if this continues and A LOT of pain for all households with variable energy rates.
If they increase prices to cover energy costs people will start buying less frozen food.
