Friend gave me this – what flavour is it?

  1. Tastes slightly alcoholic but obviously there is some chicks on the front coupled with what appears to be pistachios (yet it doesn’t taste like pistachios nor chicken)

  2. tume šokolaad täidisega – dark chocolate with a filling

Make a photo of the other side of the package, that’ll include more detailed information. It’s a product that is related to the original “Maiuspala” box of chocolates (translation: a treat). Here is a link to the original box of candy: https://www.amazon.com/Kalev-Maiuspala-Praline/dp/B017PHCCB0

“Over half a century old Maiuspala praline candies are the most beloved candies in Estonia. The design of the candy box with a little blonde girl with chicks has remained unchanged for more than three decades and is known to almost all who love sweets. The secret behind the long-lasting success of Maiuspala candies is the exceptional flavour bouquet combined with the purity and naturalness of raw materials used for production. At the heart of the candies you will find a delicious almond praline to which among others roasted almond pieces and a drop of brandy has been added to refine the flavour. The filling is covered with a thick coating made of the finest chocolate and decorated with pieces of Indian nuts which have been painted green with natural food colourings. Similarly to all other Kalev sweets Maiuspala candies do not contain artificial preservatives. The Approved Taste quality label has been awarded to the candy box.”

  3. It’s literally a great question! And you might thing everyone’s messing with you in the comments but actually nobody knows or thinks about it – everyone just knows it great. Hah, I never thought about it either…

  4. Ground up chicks. The “pistachios” you see are actually dyed chunks of bone. One of our nation’s favorite treats
