The British Military and British Mercenary groups went absolutely ballistic in Africa post WW2, lasting in part well into the 1980’s. It’s not something that’s easy to get information on, but a few decades back it was gossiped about in towns where a lot of military people came to retire. I’ll be glad to see more information come out really.
