If the journalists at the Dailies really want job action all they need to do is start telling the truth and that means what’s happening behind their closed doors, or start a newspaper call it the “Daily Briefing” they’ll make much much more money I dare say.
Are people surprised that the people working at these papers aren’t right wing themselves? Journalism as a profession skews left and liberal. It’s just hard to get a job at your ideal publication.

I mean, imagine being a journo at this shitty rag. Not only do you have to write barely coherent drivel for the c.75 year olds who read it (Diana is still, alas, dead), but you probably despise your readership more than the rest of the country, if that were even possible. It must make for a pretty shitty life, even before you get to the crappy wages/conditions.
Are these overpaid writers who only have to write what happened during the day really asking for more money? Punishing and abusing their readers, holding them to ransom even simply to get a bit more money when they provide such an important job as keeping people informed?
Should not be allowed to strike, or if they do, then they should be able to be replaced for the time being so that people can continue with limited services from agency staff!

I do wonder what these journos think of some ofnthe stuff they write when they, themselves are paid naff all. Are they not embarrased/ashamed/have a conscience?
You won’t hear a peep about this in the paper though, they will never admit that they treat staff so poorly that they cannot afford to live. Are they going to claim their staff get a proper job instead to help pay the bills?
