There was a training hospital in Scotland that would pay you a grand or two, so they could let surgeons practice reattaching stuff. It could have been fine, but you could also end up with permanent nerve damage, scaring or lose the finger all together. You also had to waive the right to sue them.
In the end I didn’t go for it. But there were a lot of down on their luck nurses who came out of there with their degree in hand, which was missing a few fingers.
This should be illegal to advertise, or even downright illegal.
