its “Medal of the Armed Forces in the Service of the Fatherland”, to be exact, a medal for 10 years (thats what X is for, its ten in roman numers) of impeccable service in polish armed forces, silver version, from polish people republic times.
i googled it, 5 minutes.
Have one like that with a V
It’s 10 yrs service medal from before the he 90s I believe
It’s probably some worthless commie shit, given the lack of the crown.
Worthless awards and medals were pretty popular in the 1944-89 period. This is a medal. But there were even faience painted plates, flagons or vases. Yeah, soldiers were awarded with plates with painted tanks, rockets or some crap on it xD
Assuming of “X”, this is award for doing nothing for 10 years in some military base. Probably preceded with the same medal with “V”, for 5 years. That’s why most high-rank officers in some authoritarian shitholes look like christmas trees from the late 90s.
Armed Forces in the Service of the Nation
My dad got one of these, before we moved to the States. (US)
Finger
10 years of service in People’s Army.
Can you use google images?
Translates “Armed Forces in the service of the nation or fatherland” seems like service medal.
