This carries as much weight as “inflation is transitory”.
Then French people won’t have incentives to save energy.
So the cost of the cap won’t be in future taxes or by cutting services? Can someone explain where the difference in costs come from if not the government or majority state owned EDF?
Is this a we’ll cap prices and make the Russians pay for it statement?
Price caps never work in the long run.
