Nationalised energy should be an option, says Sturgeon

  1. An option? There isn’t going to be a choice if the price cap predictions are right. All the energy compaines are going to go bust. As they will be in so much debt as people are unable to pay and its against the law to cut them off.

  2. So how is this going to be any better than the previous Scot gov. backed not for profit energy retailer Our Power?

That crashed after only few years (before the energy crisis) and cost us £30m to pay off its debts

They have already tried this with one company and failed, how on earth do they propose to nationalise all the retailers?

  3. The coming winter energy crisis and Mad Liz’s contempt is going to be a gift to the SNP and indy cause.

    “It’s Scotland’s gas/oil/wind power”

  4. What happens if energy is nationalised?

    Do we get cheaper bills?

Would it not cost money to take over these companies?

I’m not trolling, I’m interested in how it would work, would it work?
