  1. Of course, the bloody healthcare services are already strained without people ringing up cause they cannot afford electric or gas. What a completely fucking unfathomably dumb idea.

  2. Go ahead, do it, I will write off every single person as vulnerable. This sham government has no shame! This is not goddamn America!

  3. I know they say there’s no such thing as a bad idea when brainstorming… but the tories are certainly putting that to the test ><

  4. The fact that it was even proposed as an idea beggars belief. Bloody hell. With this and all the other absolutely bonkers things going on in this country, a revolution looks like a more and more reasonable approach.

  5. It’s obvious why they wanted to do this, it’s because people will die from being unable to afford energy, and I don’t mean in the freeze to death way, but people who require medical equipment and a constant supply of energy to keep living. So the government hands off the responsibility and when people start dying they can pass the buck and say, well if they were so reliant on energy they could have gone to their gp

  6. Oh I see the you scratch my back I scratch yours approach to governing, oh my God what the hell is happening, the edge of the cliff is approaching

  7. Odd that suddenly they’d trust doctors to decide who’s vulnerable.
Normally that needs someone with no knowledge of your medical problems who works for a French IT company.

  8. Imagine telling this idea to a room full of people and none of them going “are you fucking joking?”. That’s almost unbelievable.

That it got as far as being told to people outside of that room is incredible.
