From what I understand, her contest pitch was to focus the union on better bargaining rather than party affiliation, looks like she’s doing what she say she’d do.
She is saying the right things. I have a friend who is a unite rep and they don’t have much good to say about unite and its support. From IT systems that are often broken for weeks at a time through failing to back to court employees witch pretty clearly win it’s not an organisation that runs at all well nor supports the reps at all. They need to do a lot better on the basics.
