Most parts of spain are dirt cheap for the irish, however, it is relative. Ive spoken with spanish people who have said they barely earn enough ( hospitality, retail etc) to get by with bills, life costs, and eating out.
We are indeed getting rode, but there are many getting rode in spain too.

I’m not against being rode on occasion
