while looking att this site, im thinking of buying a 72hours pass.
but what’s the differens between “72 hours Budapest travel ticket” for 4150 HUF and “Budapest card for 72 hours” at 19 990 HUF?
can i use anyone of em to take a bus or train from the airport to the city?
i will have 2 children with me, 1 & 3 years old, cant find any information on the rules regards children?
do they need to pay full price? or ride for free with me?

  1. Budapest card for 72 hours” at 19 990 HUF offers free entry / discounts to museums, thermal baths, events. In every big city of Europe there is a similar travel card. Regarding BKK services, there’s no difference between this and the cheaper one.

If you travel with small children, I’d suggest to use the 100E bus from the airport, it goes straight to the city centre. But you have to buy a separate ticket for that. Any other means of public transport (metro, tram, trolley, bus) are covered by the 72h card. You can buy the travel card and also the airport bus ticket in purple BKK ticket machines at the airport, next to the bus stop.
