The health led approach of forcing someone to choose to be labeled an addict or a criminal is surely skewing the addiction statistics.
I dont think children should be consuming cannabis and especially not concentrates fwiw.
That’s terrible! But there are so many vape shops – which ones were selling the cannabis?
Wouldn’t that be why they’re selling them under the counter?

Nothing about over-the-counter vapes containing a more addictive drug called nicotine
Doesn’t mention the concentration at all! Ireland defies EU law that states under 0.2% THC is LEGAL for supply and consumption not to mention the revenue possible.
For anyone that isn’t aware there are multiple cases in the courts at the moment to challenge the prohibition of full spectrum CBD containing less or equal to 0.2%.
Businesses and consumers who are fully abiding by EU law are being prosecuted needlessly. Full legalisation even for medical use is still a mile off but CBD with these concentrations should be legalised right now, there is only good to come it and so many who need it can benefit from it.
Our roadside swab detection levels are also insanely low, people who consumed cannabis over a week before are losing their license and their livelihoods as a result of it. It’s total nonsense that a week later cannabis could impair your driving, especially at 1ng per ml of blood!
Please look into the Little Collins Case and the effects of full spectrum CBD before making your mind up on whether this is right or wrong.
EDIT. I will say that it is possible that this could have been a high concentration THC vape or an adulterated substance which I don’t agree with being sold under the counter as you have no idea what the source is but it doesn’t state this anywhere! All of the CBD shops I know can provide lab tests for all of their products from verified testing facilities.
ANOTHER EDIT: I don’t condone young people using any THC or CBD willy nilly, but if it was legal it could be regulated and kids could be educated instead of drugs are bad mmmkay
Let’s just legalise cannabis and turn these into non-story’s like they should be
