It’s sad that Lithuania has been stronger on China than anybody else of late
Very surprised to see them fold so quickly, considering the EU has not even retaliated yet.
We need to bring home our factories from China and automate them here. Why should we in europe support china with jobs when we can take home the factories here with less workforce for the same money, but still give jobs. A factory in china that has 1000 workers maybe would need 50-100 in europe and a couple of programmers and engineers.
And a bonus, propably better for the environment
1.0 for the free world
Understandable. I would be scared of Lithuania too.
Grats to Lithuania. It can be proud of itself. China was not important market for Lithuania anyway so nothing valuable was lost.
Absolutely pathetic, I expected bigger balls from the CPC.
I would guess two things:
* Phone calls were made.
* China has got what they wanted: A strong “we will smash the foreign enemy” reaction for domestic consumption, and now a quiet retraction which will not get the same level of reporting.
