  1. ‘The backlash that I’ve received is because I am not white’

Please don’t act like there isn’t visible regional distinctions between the populations of Europe. We’re Irish, not ‘White’- you could line up 20 random Irish and 20 random Germans and probably pick out the Irish with 80% accuracy. It does annoy me when people take this highly Americanised view of the world

  2. The very last thing we need is to adopt this insane American obsession with race – it’s purposely divisive and serves only to help the rich. The yanks have been using identity politics as a union busting weapon and its proven to be very effective.

  3. A few days ago this sub had a thread with over 1000 comments, full of people bitching about all the “racism” they experience because they’re Irish, yet whenever a thread about some minority facing racism in Ireland is posted here, everyone complains that we should “stop talking about race and racism”. Fuck this racist sub.

  4. Theres idiots in every country everywhere. Twitter is a cess pool of racism against everyone . Theres just as much anti white racism as anti any other ethnicity racism in Ireland

  5. In every country in the world the non-majority groups are treated worse once than the majority group. If he thinks there’s no “conversations about race” in Ireland, wait until he finds out about the virulent racism in Pakistan, South Korea and Nigeria and the complete lack of introspection among those nationalities regards race.
