  1. That is worded so specifically to avoid talking about Ares I shitshow… For those who don’t know, Ares V was what is now SLS (with slight modification changes). Ares I rocket tested some stuff, and it concluded Ares V cannot be human rates because in case of emergency, if crew used emergency escape system, exhaust from solid rocket boosters would melt their parachutes.
