Bucharest in autumn

  1. Interesting architecture, seems like a lovely city, love the picture as well. It’s good Romania is in the EU, wonderful land with huge potential.

  2. I love this weather we’ve been having here in Bucharest for the last couple of days. Not so many people on the street, the smell of rain, just cold enough to feel really comfortable in a coat. It can really be a beautiful city sometimes.

  3. I’d skip it any day for Oradea. And I am born in Bucharest.

What you don’t see from the picture is the holes in the pavement, weeds growing on the sidewalk, the plaster that is about to fall from many buildings, the facades disfigured by câbles and gas pipes. Rats are everywhere. Piles of dirt and recyclables are left by light poles waiting to be collected. It is hard to see a decent garden – most are in disrepair.
