Not entirely sure why an investigation by the IOPC is needed in this instance.
As per the article, she was reported missing on the 6th of July. Officers spoke to her that day, but she had yet to be reported missing when officers spoke to her. If she was yet to be reported missing, there was nothing more those officers could reasonably do.
So a police officer spoke to her before she was reported missing? And this is being investigated why?
This is a non issue. It was the same day but it was before she was reported missing
