I’d say most of government are hoping this will quiet things down for now. He’s likely been given a promise that he’ll be looked after in the future. Fuckin toxic government for decades…. Similar practices on wall st are insider trading and is illegal. US government are trying to crack down on similar tactics of their representatives who use inside information or influence to benefit themselves. It’s endemic and has to stop.
It’s true. This was inevitable, and it will keep being inevitable as long as TDs face no real consequences for doing it.
Maybe a mandatory by-election for his seat once caught doing something like this.
