Boris Johnson’s flagship jobs scheme was a failure, new figures reveal | Boris Johnson

  1. Let me know when the Tories do something that works or at least benefits someone who is not a multi millionaire or Tory donor cunt …

  2. I mean it probably wasn’t as far as he’s concerned. He got to walk around playing dress up again and a pal or 2 probably got a juicy contract to provide services for the scheme.

  3. As with so many other Tory policies, it was not about having a working plan, it was about claiming to have one. It also meant there were some consultancy firms getting paid a lot of money to do nothing useful, which is standard Tory practice these days. They don’t care if it does not work because they know their voters will see them attempting to do something and lap it up without question or scrutiny.

  4. Boris Johnson is a failure.

    Fixed.

Still he seems to have a jolly good time in Greece – happy for the good ‘ol chap

  5. No one ever blames the Civil Service, the actual departments, the Department of Transport for example, what is their role in the strikes, what do they do? How many hundreds of people ‘work’ there?
Do the politicians simply take the blame?
