This was written so differently than if she was a male officer. She still gets described as ‘mum of 3’. I think they went too heavy on the gender, what she did was amazing, regardless.

Interesting how little attention this gets compared to an officer doing something wrong
Wow. What a brave person. I imagine that poor fella and his family are very happy she was there right then. If she hadn’t been, he probably wouldn’t be with us now.
