Corsock wind farm rejected amid turbine height concerns

  1. It’s quite saddening to see, that Green energy projects get declined and cancelled due to “visual impact”

Meanwhile agriculture, roads, flooding, pollution destroy the landscape further and further.

It screams “Not in my Backyard; AKA NIMBY’s as they’re called in America.
People want lower prices on electricity, but nobody wants to see the world change for it.

  2. Onshore can be built and in production much faster than offshore and we have a crisis now.

I think there should be a new approach – build an onshore wind-farm now with a fixed 15 or 20 year life, after which the farm has to go completely , by then there will have been time to develop other power supplies – offshore or whatever.

Potentially the power grid infrastructure could be re-used for a large battery farm to get more value from that part of the investment.

  3. Its only going to get worse with Liz Truss who is going all out to appeal to the backward brigade.

The only saving grace is in 2 years this Tories will hopefully be out of government
