Let’s not act as if she does not deserve this. She will never get a job in healthcare again and she is very, very lucky the sentence is a suspended sentence as it stands. She abused a position of trust and does not deserve to have another chance to be in that position again.

She isn’t remorseful because she did this stuff. She’s remorseful over the fact that she got caught and lost her job and husband over it. What kind of repugnant, low life sack of shit do you have to be to steal from and take advantage of a severely mentally ill patient while being trusted with their care? Disgusting. I think she deserves a much harsher punishment than a divorce and losing her job.
