Well… Maybe the person walking is walking like an elephant… I’ve got a sister that used to live above my apartment, she’s slim but god she made noise when walking… It was like an earthquake every time she got back home.
So, I can understand it’s annoying, but the person complaining can’t do anything about it 😀

I guess it depends how exactly you’re walking? I have an elderly neighbour lady above my apartment and she kind of stomps as she walks. Highly annoying. So it always sounds like the T-Rex from “Jurassic Park” when she walks around because she’s basically ramming her heel into the floor everytime she makes a step. And that old lady is only about ~50 kg but thanks to her “stompy” way of walking you could think she’s got a 6-ton T-Rex in there…
It takes bit of getting used to it but you can basically avoid making any sound whatsoever when walking around simply by not ramming your heel into the floor when you walk.
Yeah put on some tap shoes like a real human being!
She’s probably walking on her heels, I used to do that until I realized how much noise it can make and now walk on the balls of my feet when people live below me.
